Mid-Year check-in with IPA Chair Gina Milani

red top 88_320x240It’s been an exciting year so far and the 2015 IPA Executive Committee team has managed to field five very popular topics in the first six months of our Indie 12/60 Series of Teleseminars. But that’s not all, we also relaunched the IPA social media channels and held our first Twitter Chat!.

For new members, the 12/60 Teleseminar series are monthly topics to help aspiring Indies launch out on their own and provide insights into new tools and features available to achieve success whether you’re just starting out or have a good foundation.

During the development, we’ve asked members if they felt having a template library would be useful and the answer was a resounding “Yes!” So we have begun the effort of providing templates where we can associate with the topic of the teleseminar. We plan to formalize this library and hopefully launch it either later this year or in 2016. In the meantime, all templates that have been made available are indicated for download with the associated webinar recording and/or transcript.

This is also the time of year when the PRSA special interest sections begin developing our operating plans for 2016. JW Arnold, our 2016 Chair elect is hard at work building this out, keeping our monthly IPA 12/60 Teleseminars as a core offering, and laying the foundation for other benefits and services we’ve had in mind for IPA (like the template library.) We’ll keep you posted – keep an eye out for an update on this around PRSAICON for a preview of 2016 IPA news.
