IPA’s NEW Social Media Reboot! No foolin’!

We have new IPA social media plans and channels with you! We’re eager to have you join us on our new social media channels.

Starting with our new PRSA IPA Facebook Page and PRSA IPA Twitter. We plan to post notices about our monthly teleseminar topics there, and to share any other useful Indie content we find – including useful tips from IPA members’, too! Please take a look. We hope you “Like it”.

What about the IPA private Facebook group conversations that members enjoy?  We have no intention of taking the private Facebook group down. PRSA also has an excellent private forum for IPA members only: (http://www.prsa.org/Network/Communities/IPA) we encourage you use this IPA forum for private group conversations and support. There, we can reach out and help one another with the challenges and questions we Indies have, that we don’t want to share publicly.

We are also rolling out another big change: our IPA PRSA Linked In Group became a members-only group on 4/1/15! Our 2015 IPA executive committee agreed that IPA’s Linked In group should be a members-only benefit and resource. After all, that’s where we go to connect professionally.

We trust you’ll find that our new 2015 social media (digital communications and programs) offer a balance of helpful public and private resources for you. First, we need to ensure that everyone is a Section member in our private groups. When we complete that task, we’ll start sharing tips we know, learn or that you contribute about Linked In’s best practices and solutions for Indies.

Your comments, questions and support throughout all these changes and the rest of our IPA journey are always welcome and appreciated. So jump in our 2015 social media network for private member conversations and public announcements and promotions. We’re there to welcome you!
